Team Testimonials

"Over the last 5 years I have progressed from a novice trainee to a manager with a large portfolio and I couldn't have done any of this without the invaluable help of Westbury.  The firm provided an excellent grounding in all areas of the accountancy profession , and its continued support throughout my training contract has enabled me to become the accountant I am today."
Sheryl Feldman
ACA, Audit & accounts manager

"From day one I have really enjoyed working at Westbury . The office environment is very friendly and supportive. The firm has  a wide client base which ensures that the work experience gained is very diverse with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills. I would recommend anyone to start their career here as I feel it's the best place to do your training."
Marco Marchini
BSc (Hons)  Trainee

"Straight out of university, I joined Westbury on the chartered accountancy training programme. The firm was able to provide me with a comprehensive knowledge base that covered most aspects of both corporate and personal accountancy and tax, audit, and corporate finance. As the firm's clients come from many different industries, the work was always varied. Conducting a diamond stock-take was just as exciting as counting widgets! The work experience was diverse and provided strong vocational support, which enabled me to obtain first time passes under the ICAEW regime.

After qualifying and to complete my skill set I moved to the financial services dept at KPMG, specialising in the audit of  insurance companies. Having worked as a financial analyst with a credit rating agency, I now manage two syndicates at Lloyd's of London. I am forever grateful for the excellent training and grounding I received at Westbury. I have fond memories of my time there and still keep in regular contact with the old gang."

"I joined Westbury in July 2006 having worked only part time previously and right from the start my  impression of the firm was very positive. Since that time I have been offered a range of comprehensive training courses which I feel will be beneficial to my future development. I have found the firm to be very friendly and supportive and am really enjoying my working experience."

  • A consistent and good ambience throughout the rest of the office on a daily basis;
  • Having the opportunity to volunteer at Autism London;
  • Winning the 2004 Catch 22 Quiz Night (and losing several others!);
  • Attending musical quizzes at Lords;
  • Our annual Sports Challenge where clients and team play tennis, softball and bowls - and schmooze over a Pimms or two;
  • Cheering on our 5-a-side team at the Corporate Cricket Challenge we have organised for the past 10 years. (And winning in 2007!);
  • Team days out - Bath, Brighton, the London Eye, barges on the canal, picnics in Regent's Park, Open air theatre;
  • Cakes on birthdays;
  • Plenty of challenging work;
