Philip Klinger

After completing his degree at the London School of Economics Philip joined Westbury in 1968, which has made him the longest serving partner with 40 years’ service. He has developed a very substantial portfolio of clients, which includes a varied cross-section of industries such as property, advertising, retail, medical specialists and jewellery wholesalers.

Having become a partner about the time that VAT was introduced in Britain, he was given the brief to research this new tax law and has since become an expert in this area. Another field in which he has specialised in is Trusts and their operation both from a practical and tax perspective.

Philip prides himself in the care and attention he gives all his clients and makes himself available at all times.

Philip is also involved in  providing tax advice to some of the new start up companies formed by  Companies Made Simple.

Outside the office his pride and joy are his grandchildren. He is interested in most sports, especially football, tennis and cricket. Philip lives in North West London together with his wife, Barbara and has 3 children who have now flown the nest with 2 living outside the UK.
