Longest standing clients - A Client for 50 Years…
As a practice, we pride ourselves on building firm and long-lasting relationships with our clients. Therefore, we were particularly pleased to mark one client, Joy Rack (pictured with her late husband, Arnold) with 50 years of service.
Our records show that in 1952, their ladies wear manufacturing business, known as Double “A” Sports Limited, was billed 20 guineas. Prior to their marriage, Arnold had been a drummer in a well-known dance orchestra but decided it was not the life for a married man and devoted himself full-time to the business, and around 1960, they also began to run a small property company. After some years in the West End, they decided to move to Shepherds Bush where they opened a retail shop with space for run both businesses. They carried on these activities for some time - until Arnold ventured into a new field as an Insurance Consultant specialising in Life and Pensions, and they then decided to close their retail and wholesale businesses.
Joy continues the property investment business, following Arnold’s sad death two years ago, and said of Westbury; “My late husband and I always felt enormous trust in the advice we received over the years for both our business and personal finances, and are proud to hold the title as the longest standing clients of the firm.”
