What do Companies House do with the items I submit to them?
Companies House scan all items it receives. The original documents are
kept whilst the scanned images are those which are available to the general
public. Any items sent must be sufficiently clear to enable them to be read
easily.
What will the Registrar do with unacceptable documents?
The item will be refused and the company will be notified of this through its
registered office address. The company will then have to resubmit the documents
in the appropriate condition within two weeks.
What format should I use for the documents I send?
The company number should be readily visible on all documents sent to Companies
House. Standard sized paper with black ink will have the greatest change of
being accepted by the registrar.
