Since he qualified over 30 years ago Julian has worked in taxation and in that time has had wide-ranging tax experience. He had spells with two of the ‘Big 4’ firms during this period and was a senior manager dealing with VAT and Corporate Tax issues for a wide range of clients in Yorkshire.
Following a period in industry with the Green Flag group of companies, Julian joined Westbury in 1998 in and became a Partner in 2007. He has helped clients of all sizes with tax planning and compliance issues, specialising in the owner-managed business sector as well as high net worth individuals and domicile issues.
With his background of dealing with VAT issues, Julian is well placed to advise on both the direct tax and indirect tax implications of transactions, especially property matters.
Julian is also often involved in assisting some of the new start up companies where investors may be eligible for tax relief on their investment.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Julian lives in North West London with his wife, Rosemary and three adult children. He is interested in music and football and has been a loyal supporter of Notts County FC for almost 50 years.

With over 20 years experience in practice, Andy provides a winning combination: professional expertise and a genuine interest in his clients business affairs.
Andy is also involved in business development work with clients who want to grow their business and improve their profits.
Andy is a good listener, with excellent communication skills. He prides himself on his swift response to all client queries, offering clear, concise advice.
A keen sports fan, with a particular passion for football and horse racing, Andy also enjoys theatre-going and is an enthusiastic member of his local tennis club, regularly playing at team level.

Keith became a partner at Westbury in May 1982 and managing partner in January 2000. He combines his management responsibilities with servicing a large and varied portfolio of clients. Specialties include the property sector, charities, professional services firms and the art world. His interest in Contemporary art provides a useful background for his regular speaking engagements at seminars for artists and art galleries.
He enjoys the challenge of building Westbury as a high quality and leading edge team.
Other business interests include his Directorship of the Made Simple Group incorporating its award winning website, Companies Made Simple, and various property companies.
Keith is involved with a number of charities and not for profit organisations, either as Trustee or as Professional Adviser. These include the Family Holiday Association, a national charity dedicated to providing a break from the pressures of daily life for severely underprivileged children and families. He is also Treasurer of the Proms at St Judes, an annual Music and literary Festival held in Hampstead Garden Suburb, which raises money for Toynbee Hall and for the North London hospice.
Keith and his wife have three children and two grand-daughters and live in North West London. In his spare time interests include Theatre and contemporary Art. Sport plays a big part in his life particularly Rugby and Football and he is a member of the Lord's Taverners.
Keith's biggest challenge and one he enjoys immensely is to balance practice management, a large and growing client portfolio, and his many outside interests - all in a 24-hour day.

Ratan Lele has been at Westbury for more than two decades. During this time he has served many clients from all walks of life, trades and professions. He has particular expertise in dealing with owner managed businesses.
Ratan prides himself on offering a cradle to grave service, and finds it very fulfilling to help small clients grow into big successful businesses. His approach is based on getting to know his clients’ businesses very well so he can advise them proactively, taking care of their compliance issues so that they are able to work onrather than intheir businesses.
Ratan is an active member of BNI (Business Network International) and he is also a member of the Holborn Speakers' Club. He is married to Ila and has two daughters, Amruta and Archana, who will soon be entering the field of investment banking.

Nicky graduated from Brunel University in June 1998 with a degree in Mathematical and Management Studies. She joined Westbury in August 1998 as a trainee, working mostly in the audit department, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002.
As part of her training Nicky undertook a 6-month secondment to the tax department, and since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant has undertaken an increasing amount of taxation work in both Corporate and Personal Taxation. She now manages a number of the firms’ Trust clients and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2006.
Nicky became a partner of the firm in 2007 and her work remains varied, including audit, accounts, taxation and general practice development. One of her key roles is to deal with the substantial number of enquiries the firm receives almost every day from new and young businesses.
Nicky is also involved in assisting new start up companies with VAT and PAYE issues and has helped many new companies get up and running.
Nicky lives with her husband Damian and 3 children, Isabel, Lily and Charlie, in Twickenham, West London. She enjoys travelling, cinema, theatre, walking her dog, swimming and spending time with her family.

Nicki Pearson joined Westbury as a trainee in 1998 fresh from university, having completed a degree in Human Anatomy and Cell Biology. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and since then has risen through the ranks to take partnership in August 2005. Nicki was proud to become Westbury’s first female partner.
She enjoys the variety provided by general practice and the challenge of having clients in a wide range of different industries. Restaurants and the hospitality sector is an area of particular interest as Nicki has worked extensively with clients in this field to grow her expertise. She also finds working with new start-ups especially rewarding, providing advice and practical help to get their accounting processes up and running.
Nicki lives near Sevenoaks with her husband James, and her children Jack, Heidi and Emily. In rare moments of spare time she enjoys walks (and the occasional run) in the local Kentish countryside, reading, and cooking.
